Gide Advises EIB on Taking Polish Development Fund's Bonds

Gide Loyrette Nouel has advised the European Investment Bank on taking up PLN 500 million bonds issued by by the Polish Development Fund.

The Polish Development Fund is a Warsaw-based, state-owned financial group which offers instruments supporting the development of companies, local governments, and individuals, and invests in social development and national economic growth.

According to Gide, “the bonds are intended to finance the implementation of the government program ‘Financial shield of the Polish Development Fund for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises,’ which offers support to companies affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Gide’s team consisted of Partner Robert Dulewicz, Counsel Michal Smiechowski, and Associate Przemysław Kopka.

Gide could not disclose any additional information about the deal.
