Dentons Advises Stadler Polska on Contracts to Supply Trams for Krakow

Dentons Public Procurement and Government Contracts team in Warsaw has advised Stadler Polska on the conclusion of a framework agreement and execution contracts worth PLN 600 million (EUR 130 million) with MPK, Krakow’s public transport company, to provide 60 modern Lajkonik II trams. 

The trams will be manufactured and delivered to Krakow between 2022 and 2023. The city is developing its tramline network and plans to replace its worn-out vehicles. The new low-floor trams will carry up to 238 passengers, including 75 seated. They will be equipped with air-conditioning, ticket machines with a card and BLIK payment system, a passenger information system, monitoring, and USB ports for charging smartphones.
