Studnicki, Pleszka, Cwiakalski, Gorski has represented a group of former shareholders of Merlin.pl S.A. in a dispute with Switalski & Synowie Sp. z o.o.
According to SPCG, “Switalski & Synowie Sp. z o.o. filed a lawsuit against a group of former shareholders of Merlin.pl S.A. to determine that the put option reserved for these shareholders in the investment agreement of 2013 has expired. The District Court in Warsaw dismissed the claim of Switalski & Synowie Sp. z o.o., recognizing the right of former shareholders of Merlin.pl S.A. to exercise the put option. The judgment is final. The value of the subject of the dispute was several dozen million zlotys.”
