Anna Matusiak-Wekiera Joins JDP as Head of Data Protection/Compliance

Anna Matusiak-Wekiera has joined JDP as Head of Data Protection/Compliance.

Matusiak-Wekiera began her legal career in 2002 as a lawyer at Pawlak, Gasior & Parnets. She spent 14 years in-house with Polish chemical company Ciech, and another year with the Instytut Chemii Przemyslowej im. Prof. I. Moscickiego. She has also, for the past 11 years, had her own eponymous legal practice.

Matusiak-Wekiera received her first Master’s degree from the Warsaw School of Economics in 2003 and her second Master’s degree from the University of Warsaw in 2005.

According to JDP, “Matusiak-Wekiera advises on the compliance of business processes with personal data protection regulations, the implementation of the GDPR regulation, post-implementation audits, and acts as a Data Protection Officer.”
