Former Warsaw Stock Exchange President Jaroslaw Grzywinski Becomes Partner at Kochanski & Partners

Jaroslaw Grzywinski, the former President of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Management Board, has joined Kochanski & Partners to take charge of the firm’s Capital Markets practice.

Grzywinski began his legal career at Soltysinski Kawecki & Szlezak in 1999. Between that time and 2015, when he joined Chadbourne & Parke, he spent time with Salans, PwC Legal, and Taylor Wessing. In 2016, Grzywinski left private practice to join the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and he became President of the institution’s Management Board in 2017. Most recently, he was the director of the Board of Directors at the Aquis Stock Exchange, and a member of the Supervisory Board of ASM Group. He obtained his first Master’s degree at the University of Bayreuth in 2000 and his second Master’s degree at the University of Oxford in 2010.

According to Kochanski & Partners, Grzywinski, who joins as a partner, "has advised foreign and domestic investors, banks, and financial institutions on regulatory aspects relating to the capital market and the securing of financing for investment projects in various jurisdictions." According to the firm, "Grzywinski has many years of experience in preparing prospectuses and advising on IPO processes in the Polish market and on the London, Frankfurt and Hong Kong stock exchanges, in addition to advising on bond issues, restructuring of financial liabilities, and investments in commercial real estate.”
