Former Dentons Managing Counsel Arkadiusz Wierzbicki has joined Polenergia in Warsaw as the company's Group Head of Legal & General Counsel.

Wierzbicki had been with his previous team since 2001, first joining legacy firm Salans as an Assistant/Paralegal. In 2002 he became an Associate. Between 2008 and 2013, he was a Senior Associate with Dentons, during which time he was appointed to the role of Co-Head of Structured Asset Finance in 2011. "I am thrilled to have joined Polenergia as General Counsel and Head of Legal. It’s a great opportunity and I am grateful to CEO Michal Michalski for his trust," commented Wierzbicki. "With a market cap of EUR 1 billion, Polenergia is Poland’s first independent vertically-integrated energy group, spearheading the Polish green energy transformation.  As trailblazers of the Polish Offshore Wind and Green Hydrogen Transition, the Polenergia team has been driven by passion and fueled by innovation. So excited to be part of it!"
