Malgorzata Lesiak-Cwikowska and Radoslaw Cebelinski have been promoted to Local Partners at DWF in Poland.

Lesiak-Cwikowska, a former Counsel, is an attorney-at-law specializing in real estate law, as well as civil and commercial law. According to DWF, “her advice is focused on a variety of real estate transactions, including sales and acquisitions of properties and companies owning properties, leases of commercial, industrial, and office space, tenancy, transmission easement, and other contracts for use of real properties, in particular for the purpose of wind farms and photovoltaic projects, contracts relating to construction processes, such as contracts for design, fit-out, and construction work.” Lesiak-Cwikowska has been with the team since 2010 (at the time K&L Gates, before the Warsaw team was taken over by DWF (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on May 2, 2019).

Cebelinski, a former Counsel as well, is an attorney-at-law and a licensed restructuring advisor. According to DWF, “his practice focuses on advising financial institutions on disputes and on restructuring and bankruptcy law. He has experience in representing clients in civil and administrative proceedings and other forms of dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. He represents financial institutions both as claimants and respondents in a full range of banking, financial and debt enforcement disputes.” According to the firm, Cebelinski also provides “advice to creditors, debtors and company boards on bankruptcy and restructuring issues, including representation in formal bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings.”

Before joining DWF in 2019, Cebelinski spent almost five years as an assistant to a Supreme Court Judge, in Poland, almost four years with Eversheds Sutherland, and a further two years with Baker McKenzie.
