Schoenherr and Dentons Advise on Trasti's Investment from EBRD and Zavarovalnica Triglav

Schoenherr has advised HPI GMA, operating under the Trasti brand, on a EUR 21 million equity investment from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Zavarovalnica Triglav. Dentons advised EBRD and Triglav. DLA Piper reportedly also advised Triglav.

According to Schoenherr, founded in 2021 and operating as a managing general agent for Triglav, Trasti has issued over 700,000 motor insurance policies to date, with PLN 620 million in gross written premiums. Backed by Swiss Re reinsurance, proprietary pricing algorithms, and a fully digital claims process, the company aims to scale to PLN 1 billion in premiums by 2029.
