Bucharest's Sirbu & Vornicu Law have advised Enel Green Power Espana on the successful implementation of a FAC-1 framework alliance contract with all the contractors involved in the realization of the Campillo Wind Cluster in Cuenca province, Spain.

According to the firm, "this project marked a significant first: integrating the EPC contractors under a single umbrella contract to deliver improved value, foster collaboration, and create a more streamlined environment."

The Campillo Wind Cluster consists of three wind farms being built between the towns of Campillo de Altobuey and Enguidanos in the province of Cuenca. Enel Green Power will invest around EUR 256 million in the construction of these three wind farms and employ around 350 people from the local area. Campillo I will have an installed capacity of about 76.8 megawatts, while Campillo II and III will have a capacity of 91.2 megawatts each. The three facilities will produce approximately 660 gigawatt-hours per year, which is more than double the annual consumption of a city like Cuenca.

Enel Green Power Espana currently manages a renewable capacity of more than 7,779 megawatts in Spain, including 4,745 megawatts of hydropower, 2,422 megawatts of wind power, 609 megawatts of solar capacity, and 3 megawatts from other renewable sources.
