Greenberg Traurig has advised Benefit Systems on its accelerated book building process for 280,000 Series H new-issue shares raising PLN 742 million (approximately EUR 173 million) with Jefferies, Santander Bank Polska – Santander Biuro Maklerskie, Banco Santander, and WOOD & Company Financial Services as the joint global coordinators. Baker McKenzie advised the joint global coordinators.
According to Greenberg Traurig, the offering was structured as a public offering exempt from prospectus requirements under Polish capital markets law. The proceeds will finance Benefit Systems’ planned acquisition of Mars Spor Kulubu ve Tesisleri Isletmeciligi, a fitness club operator in Istanbul.
The Greenberg Traurig team included Warsaw-based Partners Rafal Sienski and Pawel Piotrowski, Senior Associate Grzegorz Socha, and Associate Szymon Swierszcz as well as further team members in London.
