Schoenherr and DKFE Advise on Indie Semiconductor's Acquisition of Emotion3D

Schoenherr has advised Indie Semiconductor on its acquisition of Emotion3D. DKFE, and reportedly Petsch Frosch Klein Arturo, advised the sellers.

According to Schoenherr, Emotion3D is a Vienna-based developer of advanced perception software for in-cabin sensing, ADAS, and automated driving. Under the agreement, Indie will pay USD 20 million in cash at closing, with up to USD 10 million in performance-based earnouts if certain revenue targets are exceeded by February 2027.

The Schoenherr team included Partners Thomas Kulnigg and Christoph Haid, Counsel Karin Pusch, Attorneys at Law Dominik Tyrybon, Maha Zoehrer, Daniel Komarek, and Alexander Pabst, and Associates Maximilian Czernin and Theresa Dabsch.

The DKFE team included Partners Philipp Freimann and Stefan Ettmayer and Associate Manuel Lang.
