PeliFilip has assisted MJ Maillis, an industrial packaging company, on the sale of its production facility on the Bucuresti – Targoviste road to the plastics manufacturer Prodplast SA. The transaction value was over 1.5 million EUR.
According to PeliFilip, the firm organized the due diligence analysis on the vendor side and assisted with negotiations and on other transactional aspects. The firm's lawyers also assisted with "the release of the English law governed security package set-up over the property, in the context of the new financing contracted by the buyer and new set of mortgages put in place."
The PeliFilip team was coordinated by Partner Ioan Dumitrascu, supported by Senior Associates Mihaela Ispas, Ioana Roman, and Mirona Apostu, and Associates Dragos Ungureanu, Lavinia Ghencea, Anca Mitocaru, and Roxana Diaconu.
The firm said it was unable to provide information about counsel for Prodplast on the deal.
