Stratulat Albulescu, working with San Francisco-based Fathom Law, has advised 3VC on leading the USD 10 million series A financing round for Romania's Creatopy together with Point Nine. BPV Grigorescu Stefanica, working with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, advised Creatopy and its founders.

Launched in 2021 and based near Oradea, Creatopy is a creative automation platform that enables brands and agencies to build, streamline, and personalize their visual content at scale for different markets, channels, and digital platforms. According to Stratulat Albulescu, the start-up will use the funding to reach more customers and bring new AI capabilities to the product, in areas like copywriting, image editing, and workflows.

3VC styles itself as a European venture capital group that invests in a carefully handpicked group of European technology start-ups with global ambition.

According to BPV Grigorescu Stefanica, the investment led by venture capital funds 3VC and Point Nine is the largest first-round initiated by a start-up from Romania.

The Stratulat Albulescu team was led by Partner Cristina Man and included Managing Associate Elena Stan and Senior Associate Bogdan Florea.

The BPV Grigorescu Stefanica team included Managing Partner Catalin Grigorescu, Senior Associate Laura Popa, and Associates Ana Maria Rotariu and Sergiu Oprean.
