Clifford Chance Badea has advised Enel Green Power Romania on the acquisition of the Lumina 63-megawatt photovoltaic park in Calugareni, Giurgiu county, from the Mytilineos group.

According to Clifford Chance, the Lumina park will be the largest photovoltaic park in Enel Green Power Romania’s current portfolio. “With an area of 88 hectares and a linear length of almost 2 kilometers, the park has an installed capacity of 63 megawatts and will annually generate approximately 99 gigawatt-hours.”

Back in 2021, Clifford Chance also advised the Enel Group on its acquisition of two Romanian solar farms totaling 90 megawatts from Mytilineos (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on September 13, 2021).

The Clifford Chance team included Partner Nadia Badea, Counsel Loredana Ralea, and Senior Associates Andrei Caloian and Lavinia Dinoci.
