Sayenko Kharenko Counsel Olexander Droug has coached the team of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Institute of International Relations for the 24th Willem C. Vis Moot court competition. This year, the oral rounds of the Moot court competition took place in Vienna from April 6- April 13, 2017.

The Moot court competition gathered students from law schools from around the world. Each team had to prepare written submissions and present oral pleadings representing both claimant and respondent. Under the guidance of Droug, who has been coaching the team of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Institute of International Relations for the past nine years, the team was awarded an honorable mention for the memorandum for Claimant.

According to Sayenko Kharenko, "The Willem C. Vis Moot is an international commercial arbitration moot, which has taken place in Vienna since 1994. The object of the competition is to promote the study of international commercial and arbitration laws for resolution of international business disputes by arbitration."
