Working with the Paris office of Lefevre Pelletier & Associes, Romania's Stratulat Albulescu has advised Automobile Dacia S.A. on the largest single-tenant office lease ever executed in Romania.
Automobile Dacia SA — part of the French automotive group Renault — has leased a Bucharest development consisting primarily of a 39,000 square meter Class A build-to-suit building. According to Stratulat Albulescu, within the next three years the company will consolidate its various offices, currently located in a number of different locations throughout Bucharest, into the new building.
Stratulat Albulescu states that Automobile Dacia "is the only motor car manufacturer in Romania that possesses the capacity to design, develop, and manufacture motor cars in Romania," which it does "with the help of over 16,000 employees currently working in the manufacturing facilities and offices located in Pitesti, Bucharest, Titu, and other cities in Romania."
Stratulat Albulescu "provided legal advice on all Romanian law matters including drafting the transaction documents and negotiating the lease agreement." The firm's team was led by Managing Partner Silviu Stratulat and Partner Otilia Petrescu and included Senior Associate Cristina Man and Associate Alex Bumbu.
