In hindsight, 2023 was marked by significant moves and shakes in CEE, as demonstrated by 82 pages of aggregated summaries of the most active firms and partners in each country, a full list of all the 376 deals submitted for consideration for the 2023 DOTY awards, and the 2023 Table of Deals, with a whopping 1,666 client matters. That said, the CEELM Index 2024 special issue is now out!

'Twas the hustle before Christmas, (submission) deadlines abound,

As we flip through the pages of time, CEE Legal Matters is not just celebrating another year – but its 10th Anniversary. Exactly 10 years ago, on December 19, 2013, we published our first news item and, after that, it’s been quite a ride. In this extra special December 2023 issue, we’re taking a stroll down legal memory lane, checking out how things have evolved in the last 10 years, and looking into our crystal ball for some predictions for the upcoming decade.

As 2023 draws to a close and we take time to reflect on the year’s experiences and set our sights on the future, our November issue of the CEE Legal Matters Magazine – a special focus on the northernmost part of CEE – brings a sense of the holiday season well in advance.

Well, fear not as we’re here to put your mind at ease – the October issue is now out and available to subscribers! And with focuses on both Poland and Turkiye, it’s a big boy.

As autumn has arrived, we can confirm that we have been slightly FALLing behind. It is true that in the world of publishing, timing can be everything. But even more so, if there is a touch of dramatic flair as a result of a slight not-worth-to-be-mentioned one-month delay. After what felt like a pretty packed eight months – celebrating 10 years in business kept us especially busy – the whole CEELM team is going on a collective break. Between August 21 and August 27, all our publishing will be on hold.
