Rejoice! The 2015 CEE Legal Matters Corporate Counsel Handbook has been published and is now available on the CEE Legal Matters website — with hard copies on their way to the over 600 General Counsel and Heads of Legal whose responses are reflected within it.

The 2015 version of the Handbook — supported by DLA PiperGide Loyrette Nouel, and Wolf Theiss — is our second, following last year’s highly successful and widely-read first edition.

This year’s Handbook covers critical elements of the General Counsel role, including: Their schedules and daily priorities, their perceived sources of and responses to risk, how and when they turn to and manage External Counsel, sources of market intelligence and legal/regulatory updates, and much more. In addition, this year’s Handbook contains comments, perspectives, and insight gleaned from the many interviews with General Counsel contained in the CEE Legal Matters magazine over the past years, used to illustrate and illuminate the data from the survey. Finally, the Handbook concludes with a useful directory of firms from across CEE whose work has been reported on the CEE Legal Matters website, along with links to those articles.

Participants, readers, and all General Counsel who want to discuss these findings, share information with their peers, or learn more about Best Practices and common strategies in the industry are encouraged to join us on September 10-11 at the GC Summit in Budapest, an unprecedented and unparalleled opportunity for senior in-house counsel to engage, interact, network, and develop. Time and space are, however, limited, so interested individuals should sign up soon.
